Local team wins Irish National Etchells Championship 2010
Congratulations to local Etchells sailors: 2004 World Champion Peter McNeill, and his crew, Tom Woods and David Gleadhill (Sydney) for their recent win at the Irish National Etchells Championship. NCYC members saw this inspiring team in action during the Inaugural Thrifty Etchells Easter Regatta held here in April 2010. We look forward to seeing them at NCYC for the Etchells NSW State Titles 11 – 13 February 2011 and again during the Easter Etchells Regatta 22-24 April 2011. Both of these events are being run by NCYC in conjunction with the Lake Macquarie Yacht Club Etchells Fleet.
In the meantime, GOOD LUCK AT THE WORLDS BOYS. Racing in the Etchells World Championships 2010 is due to start Monday 23 August with the last race on Saturday 28 August at Howth Yacht Club, Dublin, Ireland.
