Sunday 12 December 2010, is the date for the rescheduled Blessing of the Fleet.

This will be followed by Afternoon racing  – Lady Skipper Race.

• Rev Garry Dodd, Chaplain to the Newcastle Seafarers Centre and to NCYC, provides a Certificate of Blessing to all vessels blessed and adds the vessel name to the Prayers for Seafarers.

Port users are advised by the Newcastle Port Corporation that a third waverider buoy was deployed on 26 October 2010.  This deployment location will be maintained for 3 months at which point the buoy will removed.
