Newcastle Cruising Yacht Club (NCYC) is excited to have been successful in its bid to host the 2014 Audi IRC Australian Championships.
The Audi IRC Australian Championships will be held from the 16th to the 20th of April 2014. Registrations will occur on the 16th followed by four days of fantastic racing off the white beaches of Newcastle and Stockton Bight.
All IRC rated yachts, small and large, that hold a Category 4 safety certificate are welcome to compete in the event. NCYC anticipates a Notice of Race and invitations to boat owners will be issued in July 2013 (details below).

NCYC will be making good value yummy bread rolls and lunch packs to order for crew lunches. These will be available for pickup over the bar from 7.30am each morning. Please ensure orders are in by 9.30am on the day prior.
Social Program & Kids Activities
To ensure a family friendly regatta a number of activities have been planned at NCYC to occupy and amuse the kids allowing sailors and partners to socialize and enjoy the regatta and each afternoons social activities while the kids remain occupied. Parking and Van Storage
Parking at NCYC will be on a first come first serve basis with additional parking available on Hannell Street and in the Streets directly across the road from NCYC in Wickham. Please note vans will not be allowed to permanently park in NCYC’s car park during the regatta. Three designated van bays for pick up and drop off or gear and equipment will be available outside Midcoast Boat Yard (below the sign) and will be marked with witches hats. There is plenty of van parking on Hannell Street directly in front of NCYC’s Clubhouse.
