Congratulations to “She’s the Culprit” – a great win!
The 2012 Pittwater & Coffs Harbour Regatta 2012 PHSTCF Division 2 winner was “She’s the Culprit” skippered by Glen Picasso. In fact, congratulations are in order all around for NCYC representatives in this event run by the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club. Fellow NCYC Members had an exciting few days from start of race at 13:00 on Monday 02/01/2012. The Yacht Tracker displayed in the clubhouse was a focal point as tension mounted during the race which had an overall fleet of forty five yachts competing in seven divisions. The three NCYC yachts, “Anger Management” (NCYC Commodore Phil Arnall), “She’s The Culprit” (Glen Picasso) and “Wizzard” (Mike Hinchey), gave really creditable performances.
Results were as follows: PHSTCF Division 2 – “She’s the Culprit” 1st place with a corrected time of 02:04:37:08. IRC Division 1 – “Wizzard” took out 7th place with a corrected time of 02:02:18:14. “Anger Management” came in 10th with a corrected time of 02:03:38:25. ORCI Division 1, “Wizzard” took out 2nd place with a corrected time of 01:23:08:57, and “Shes the Culprit” followed with an 11th placing with corrected time of 02:06:18:32. OD = “Wizzard” – 2nd place with corrected time of 01:21:31:26.

Great times at the 2011 Etchells NSW State Championships.
“After racing in the 2011 Thrifty NSW Etchells State Championships was abandoned on Saturday for the day, crews were very keen to get out there again on Sunday and get a title sorted. Perhaps this is why all three starts were clean. Having said that, one vessel did get to within less than a metre of the line before the gun . . . ‘ John Curnow
