Who Can Enter?
We invite youth sailors to enter and represent their local club at the Newcastle Youth Keelboat Championship.
- Under 26 years at 31st December 2020
- Teams of 3 or 4 crew
The regatta will be raced in our Keelboats and aims to attract the talented youth sailors of our region.
It’s an opportunity to expand your racing skills if you haven’t sailed in a one-design keelboat fleet before.
Come and represent your club in this event and form a team to compete in what promises to be an action-packed two day regatta.

Newcastle Cruising Yacht Clubs Youth Keelboat Program is currently OPEN for applications to join the 2019 squads. The squads will train under the guidance of our coaches and may be eligible to represent the Club at events at Sydney Clubs. This is a great opportunity for young sailors to develop their skills and to progress to learn Match Racing techniques which provides an invaluable experience when returning to fleet racing.
