Instructions
- 10.30am – muster in the Basin and keep a listening watch on VHF Ch 77.
- 11.00am – the lead boat will use VHF Ch 77 to make a radio broadcast announcing the activity instructions and notifying when they commence the sail past. This will be accompanied by a long horn blast and they will slowly begin following the mapped course.
- The lead boat will proceed at 4 knots. Participating vessels are requested to form a single file, following the lead boat.
- The course will take vessels up past the NCYC clubhouse before transiting along the Honeysuckle waterfront and out toward Nobbys.
- Vessels will be blessed as they pass the Newcastle Cruising Yacht Club fuel wharf.
*We encourage boats to decorate and dress up to be eligible for a prize.
**The Blessing of the Fleet parade will be followed by live music and food/drink specials in the clubhouse from 12noon.
