Tackers is a fun introductory, games-based kids learn-to-sail program designed for ages 7 to 12 years.
Kids don’t need to have any sailing experience or club membership to participate.
School Holidays
- Single day ‘give it a try’ option
- Four or Five day courses
- 9:00am to 2:00pm each day
- Runs during September, January and April holidays
During School Term
- Saturday mornings – 9:00am to 11:30am
- Wednesday afternoons – 4:00pm to 6:30pm
- Runs during Terms 1 and 4

Equipment Supplied
- Boats, Sails and all equipment supplied
- A large variety of sizes of Personal Floatation Devices (PFDs) provided for correct fit
- Kids don’t need any special clothing
- Wear swimmers, boardshorts & rashie with old sandshoes
- Be Sun Smart!
Courses run from our NCYC Sailing Centre at Carrington.
